1-1 sessions

We offer 1-1 sessions to support young people in undertaking the arts award. These sessions can either be undertaken in nail art, or in another arts topic.
Whilst our platform-based course is currently only in the silver arts award (a level 2 qualification), our 1-1 support covers both the bronze arts award and silver level. It is provided to students who will be age 11+ by the time they submit their portfolio of work.

Nail Art 1-1s

Students can be supported to complete the whole of an arts award qualification (bronze or silver level) via 1-1 tuition. This provides a good option for those who are not sure if the course is for them, or for students who value live 1-1 support, instead of group-based learning.

Weekly sessions of either 30 minutes or 60 minutes can be booked. 30 minute sessions suit independent learners who are confident in undertaking their own research and writing it up. 60 minute sessions benefit learners who want or need more support.

All 1-1 sessions are on-line via zoom.

1-1s can focus purely on the Arts Award qualification of your choice or they can cover our Arts Award Plus offer which looks at a students strengths, career aspirations and options and helps them set next steps and goals.

1-1 support in other arts topics

As a qualified arts award assessor, I am also happy to support students in completing the bronze or silver arts award in other arts topics. This usually works best if the student already has an area of interest and is keen to further develop and showcase their work in the given area. They will also develop further skills and understanding via the research and leadership elements of the programmes and learn how to develop a portfolio.
